MOUNT WILBUR (9303') AND THE PINNACLE WALL-GLACIER NATIONAL PARK-MT

MOUNT WILBUR (9303') AND THE PINNACLE WALL-GLACIER NATIONAL PARK-MT

The classic image of Mount Wilbur (9303') and the Pinnacle Wall. The trails from this starting point are amoung the best in the park. Personal recommendation: Hike to Iceberg Lake (Easy/Moderate),backtrack to the trail junction with Ptarmagan Lake, hike past the lake to the tunnel (Moderate/Stenuous). The view of the Belly River Country, Lake Helen, and Old Sun Glacier, are great.

...and left of tree is known as the B-7 Pillar. Also, Wilbur's correct elevation is 9321'. (Iceberg Peak is hidden by Wilbur.)
