ive been thinking the same thing...this hike was pretty bland with some good views ( my pictures dont really do i justice) I'll try to flesh out the general description and ill add some detailed trail info. I rather writ on SP then on term papers for school ;-)
If you access via the lower trail head on Hurricane Road (not O'Toole Lane as referenced here) be aware that the trail head is not particularly obvious. No sign, no parking pull out, and only a small trail marker disc to denote the start. The easiest things to look for are the two "no parking" signs on the opposite side of the road. There are pull outs to park just perhaps 50-100 yards down the road from this trail head.

a bit more detail?Though I remember the tip (in the 70's) as fairly uneventful... would a bit more detail be useful?
I think I just used the Adk guide to get to the trailhead.
