Hinkey was still closed from the north when I did Granite. I was able to drive to the pass from the south, but there were deep berms all the way down the north side of the pass. Granite ended up being a challenging little snow climb, one of my favorite summits to date. You're page inspired me to go ahead and post mine!
Nevada deserves attention and this is one that I've had on my list now for a year or so. I almost went over this weekend to pick it up along with Orevada/Bilk but circumstances kept me here in town.

The way you get after it, I think you could probably do all 3 of those in a day. I was impressed you bagged 7 peaks the same weekend I got 3, well done Dean!

It's Santa Rosa time!Nice one. Great pics and detailed description. The Santa Rosas front and centre on SP this evening.
So Hinkey Summit was open less than 4 weeks after I couldn't make it even halfway to Windy Gap. I'll have to go a bit later next time.
