I use to to have higher standards until I realized that there is so many people out there who are interested in HPS peaks. I know back in my teens , early 90's, I would have been stoked to find pictures and maps to every peak on this list. So yes Garnet ain't much but someone out there is going to be happy that there is a page for it. Until I saw the pictures for Garnet Peak I never would have cared to venture this far from home for such a minute peak. But I'm a sucker for great escarpments like the drop off of the Garnets. yay snow!The snow looks pretty good. We need some more of this in the Sierras! (or Santa Cruz range, for that matter :) )

Re: yay snow!I use to love to see Loma Prieta with a fresh dusting on it after a long storm spell. I'm looking forward to getting back to snow climbing.
