I just climbed this peak today and was shocked to see it already had a page. And I thought I was the only one submitting pages for the beartooths lol. I didn't realize you had been to this area. Looked like you had a fun trip there back in2010
Yeah, I did this one and Sawtooth on the same morning. The afternoon before, I got within striking distance of Zimmer but was going to run out of daylight. My principal objective out there was Wolf Mountain, but the basin was completely buried in snow, and it was mushy, postholing snow, and I decided I didn't want to deal with 8 miles or so of that to get to and from Wolf. So maybe some August day I'll go back, when the whole road is clear and the basin is as well.
Nice! Yeah I would like to climb Wolf Mountain as well...let me know when you come back since Wolf Mountain is a low priority Beartooth climb for me (Since it isn't going in my guidebook) it can wait :)
