Oohhhhh

So that's what these peaks look like! Saw them for many many years of my life and never really looked into them. Thanks for the page!

Re: Oohhhhh

Same with me! I'd been looking at them from afar for decades. Finally seeing them up close made me realize that this is actually a mountain.

Thanks for the comment!

Surprised no one

has done a page on these peaks until now. If I remember, they are prominent high points when going south on 680.

Re: Surprised no one

I was surprised, too. More than once I worried that I was spelling the name wrong and that I was submitting a duplicate M/R page. There just aren't that many officially named peaks in this area. In fact, I think these are the only ones between the peaks of Mission Ridge and the peaks around the Rose, Discovery and Mount Lewis.

They do appear prominently from southbound 680 and I almost always look for them when traveling through the area. Next time I hope I can remember to have my wife take a photo to use on the page.

Thanks for the comments!

Nice work!

And a great writeup. Good to see another Bay Area peak getting recognition. Barely remember my visit there but the ancient tub rings a bell. Maybe another trip next winter...

Re: Nice work!

Thanks for the comments, Chad. PM me if you'd like some 'old school' company for your redo next winter. It would be fun to do a hike together.
