Very nice and well written to boot! It's great to see the Winds finally getting the attention on SP they deserve.

Horse Ridge - Noel Lake

Great report. We hope to go via Cold Creek this summer. One minor edit. Noel Lake was named by Finis Mitchell (he named many lakes as an early explorer of the WInd River range. I met him in the late 1960's on the Island Lake trail and he was still on horseback ). He noted that the name was changed on some maps to Knoll Lake but I think we should use Noel based on his history)
