Thanks for the comment/vote but I've never tried pancakes with pineapple. Sounds like something I'd better give a try. (I'm kind of stuck on pancakes with blueberries or strawberries)
The acidity of the pineapple really gives it something extra. Mind you, I add a little bit of caster sugar as well, or they would be too sour.
I like pancakes with other toppings too. Haven't tried blueberries, but strawberries aren't too bad. Unfortunately, almost all strawberries in the shops in the Netherlands have been grown in greenhouses and don't taste nearly as good as the real deal.
There will be more to cheer about very soon: The 10.000 m speed skating is happening right now! And I don't want to sound cocky, but the whole country expects another clean sweep, assuming there are no unfortunate mishaps like in Vancouver.
You've got me confused about your last name though: is it Dutch, or Molen?
