Sounds like Dean and Bob went too far on that short trail section at the start of the route and really found the bushwhack route. OK, Paul, rudimentry it is, but it's a kick-ass rudimentry for sure!

I went out to Pilot Rock last week and there was some snow but not much. The weather has been fairly nice but it is suppose to rain this week; don't know if it will be cold enough to snow in the mountains.
Thanks for the vote and the compliment Sounds like you guys shoulda made this a "winter" climb! I'm getting more respect for you highpointers all the time - some of these babies are real workouts.

Nice page...for what I've seen so far. But I would call that a rudimentary trail to the top, not a dirt bushwhack.
