Since this is the first Cuban mountain on SP, under Red Tape you might want to mention the US embargo. Americans who wish to avoid legal trouble will generally need permission from the Treasury's Office of Foreign Asset Control.
Very informative. I'm currently reading "Mi Moto Fidel" by Christopher P Baker. (a motorcycle travelogue around Cuba) Your photos are a great accompaniment to my reading.
