Overview

The Dent de Perroc is a mountain at east of Arolla in de Valley of Herens / Val d'Herens in Valais/Wallis. Its an rockmountain with a long w-ridge to climb. Not many people are climbing this mountain so most of the time its only you and the mountain. This route variates from scramble over blocks till 3-4 rockclimbing. There is no easy route back so you need anought stuff to rappel down.

From the Dent de Perroc you will have a great view over Val D'herens.

Getting There

In the Valley of Herens you go to Arolla. From here you take the path to the Hut:Cabane de la Tsa. From here you follow a part of the route to point de Tsalion. Halfway you cross the morenes, to a point that looks like a pass to an another side, there is the begin of the ridge. The first part is easy 1/2, blockscrambling, look carefull at the route wich isnt very easy to find always, on one part you must follow the rightside of the ridge, some down and then up back to the ridge, back on the ridge you go on till a sort of face(on the way back you can rappel this part direct from the ridge). From there it go's steeper 3-4 and smaller to the summit.
