Hey! I get to be the first to vote on this one--so I will! Good job, Sean! (I may be voting early, but will check back...more pictures are forthcoming?) A thought: what's the relationship, if any, between this mountain and "Fourth of July" Pass, on I-90?

(Oh rats, Wildstar & I voted the same time--and he won first entry...! Oh well.)

Fourth of July Pass on I-90? None that I am aware of as I-90 is a couple hundred miles away. Thanks for almost getting the first vote!

Ya, I get to be the third to vote! Good page, Sean. I remember that fire and how large it was. It must have been weird walking through all of those burnt trees and seeing what was left of it.

It was one of the most bizarre things ever MG. It is now a sad, yet eerily beautiful drive up Fourth of July Creek. Thanks for the vote.

Thanks for the vote. Yes the White Clouds get quite a bit of snow but if I remember correctly the winter of 96-97 was quite wet.

I recommend revisiting Fourth of July again, it is a whole different area now.

THanks for the vote King. Firework displays from this peak? None, its a very remote mountain. But nature sure put on a natural display this year.

A really pretty peak. Too bad about the fire and deadfall threat.

Hey Sean, good one again! It actually looks not so different from your last submission, though here the choss has already been covered by grass (or whatevere it is.

Not so sure about the sig pic however. 195157 would suit better...

But do as you deem fit...

Thanks for the vote Gangolf and the suggestion. I think I'll stick with current sig photo for a little while....at least until I get back up there to get a shot from a different angle.

Wish I could, but I need to save up credits at home for next Spring and Summer... Looks like a cool peak though.
