You just got me all anxious for the snowmelt. I can't wait to get back up to Algoma to do more exploring and now I have a new peak to climb! Sweet! Nice add!

Thanks! I'm still ticked at the way things played out and I wasn't able to climb Batchawana the same day I did Griffin Lake Peak. Too bad I hadn't stumbled across your post on Batchawana earlier, or else I would have gone up the route you suggest! I really want to climb it for myself and get a good elevation reading (GPS), and perhaps get a good look at Griffin Lake Peak. Oh well, there's still a lot up Algoma area that I want to do, and I will be returning.
