Thanks for checking the page out Gangolf. Actually both times I visited, In Jan 06 and Apr 07, storms were about the affect the area within a few hours, usually makes neat clouds.
Cross-bedded sandstone is very common to see in the San Rafael Swell, it can be seen in a few of the pics. Here is an example from near the summit, a better example is here. Thanks again!
