Fantastic color combinationIn the eastern U.S. these reds are given by red maple acer rubrum and red oak Quercus rubrum.

Re: Fantastic color combinationThanks Mark!! On this photo I think there isn't a single maple, all that is red is beech. Well, maybe that yellow tree between two spruces on the cliffs could be maple. As you know there is quite a lot of maple on Velebit but not much on higher elevations. Red oak? Here they only turn to yellow or orange. Would like to see red one.
