How do you know

it's not Mrs. Bluebird?
Just kidding, you probably know better. Will you teach the rest of us?
Great set of photos, Roxy,

Actually, it could be Mrs. Bluebird.
I have to find my bird book.
I do know that the males are a much brighter color than the females.
It is kind of hard to tell in this picture.

If I had a shot with them side by side, I could definitely tell the difference.

Thank you for your compliments!
Have a very Happy Memorial Day Weekend, Marc!

My wife and I had

the opportunity to view bluebirds in Arches
NP, after it had rained the night before.

All this liquid sunshine is really bringing
out the beautiful birds !!!

Re: My wife and I had

Yes, it has a tendancy to do that. I have seen birds that usually are not in an area, blow in on a storm.

We have several Mountain Bluebirds in the area this time of year, and they are one of my favorite.

We are very blessed to live in this area, where it is the flight path for a great variety of birds.

Happy Memorial Day!
