Armstrong is a solid 2+ hour tramp up from the Brewster Hut which itself is about 2.5 hours (signs say 3-4) steady tramping up steep track from the Fantail Falls car park. about 1.5 hour drive N over the Haast Pass from Wanaka. June 17th, 2009, around 11am. Cold.
