Mt Chapman from Northwest

The steep, glaciated northwest side of remote 3070 metre Mount Chapman rising out of the deep valley of Louis Lee Creek in the far northern Selkirks. This rarely-climbed mountain was first visited by Alex Faberge and Robert Schluter in August 1953. They climbed the hidden southwest flanks and southwest ridge (mid-right skyline) by crossing over the low pass on the unclimbed northeast (left skyline) ridge from the glacier visible below it.
