Mt. Gabb South Slope

Mt. Gabb South Slope

This picture illustrates the South Slope route description. From the sandy slope, you have three options: (1) follow the slope to its terminus on the southwest ridge, and scramble up the ridge over class 2+ boulders to the summit; (2) slog up the slope on the southwest side of the peak; or (3) scramble up allegedly class 3 rock on the south or south-southwest side of the mountain.
