Mt. Rainier - A Surprise View

Mt. Rainier - A Surprise View

Mt. Rainier - South of Puyallup Catching this view of the western side of Mt. Rainier was a surprise to us as we headed back to Seattle to fly home. The mountain was clear and the little park on the side of road to stop and admire the mountain was beautiful.

Rainier can take your

Mowich face on the left, Point Success on
the right, with Columbia Crest and the
glistening Tahoma Glacier cascading down
the mountain's western flank (at center).

Re: The throne of the gods!

Thanks! We couldn't believe that the people of Seattle just drive by this every day on their way to and from work!
