And Mt. Shasta needs

some more BIG storms. A SP-member
was complaining about Shasta's dwindling
snowpack in recent years. Dean had
commented that he had not seen any
signs of geothermal activity when
he summited this impressive mountain.
Kind of makes a person wonder, "Where
is all the snow going?" Take care!

No snow in AZ ... by golly!

Re: And Mt. Shasta needs

I am taking a chance on being stoned by the global warming crowd, but there is s dirty little secret about Mt. Shasta. The glaciers are GROWING and are 30% bigger than they were a hundred years ago.

I'll take your word for it.

If life isn't worth taking a chance,
is it even worth the trouble? I've
heard a lot of truckers talking about
the "rough winters" in northern CA.
From recent USGS photos, a glacier
has formed in the crater of Mt. St.
Helens. Who do you believe?

This is where "self-reliance" is key.
