You have Timp in your window! You are very lucky! I have San Jacinto Peak out of my window, but as far as mountains go, Timp is far more grander that SJ. Thanks for you tips, I'll will be back in the future.
I enjoyed SJ when I had a chance to visit there. I was curious is you were at Philmont as a scout or staff. I just went through there and enjoyed the area. I also met 5 youth staff coming up Wheeler Peak when I was descending. One was from California.
