Lovely hike on a great trail with minimal elevation gain and a lot of bang for your buck.

Muddy from the last Hurricane's rain
It rained a ton two days earlier from a passing hurricane heading up the coast. This made the walk up and down a bit muddy and wet, especially near the swamp, where parts of the trail were completely underwater. Still, the views from the summit overlooking the autumn colors at their peak was well worth the trip up.

Nice little hill. It was fine, as we were just below the clouds on the summit allowing us some views that we would not have had if we were higher.
