Hoping for a Two-fer in the LaSal Mountains

The conventional wisdom is that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. In our case, the road from Salt Lake City was paved with our noble intentions of climbing Mt. Waas and Mt. Peale, two county highpoints in the same day. Yeah, drive to Moab and then to the TH, car camp, get up early the next day and climb Mt. Waas, drive to the Peale TH and knock that one off, too. Smashing idea, poor execution. But not all was lost, for we ended up climbing them on successive days. Here's how it unfolded.
