Carl, Gord and Bob on the summit of Mt Whitney. We were celebrating our upcoming 50th birthdays and decided to see if we could make it to the top of the highest peak in the lower 48. We left the Lone Pine Campground at midnight and got back into camp at 6:00 PM making it an 18 hour camp-to-camp total. Oct 20, 2002
