Nice!Which one of the points is the actual summit of Mt. Whitney? I've never never been there so I don't know. Beautiful photo too!

The peaks in the most distant background are also the lightest in tone (alpenglow). Of those background peaks, the broadest one is Mt. Whitney just to the right side of center.

Yes it is. Can't have a better view of Mt. Whitney. A few clouds would have been nice, but I ended up getting plenty of those later on!

Great!!!What a precious angle and perspective you had there, for that view upon Mount Whitney! And that perfect reflection in the mountain lake on top of it...just great!!

Re: Great!!!The opening of that trip was planned around trying to get Mt. Whitney in reflection. The weather was kind of drab, but the view of Mt. Whitney is hard to beat! Thank you!
