Excellently-maintained trail to the top, which boasts great views given the short, straightforward hike to get there.
Nice hike with the family on a sunny Spring day. I had the 20-lb baby on my back, and we had no problem tackling this. Fun family hike!
Did this hike after doing Mt. Cutler today. Not crowded at all. Very scenic hike. I would rate it intermediate because of the steepness/rocky areas near the summit and the length. I brought my dogs and they were fine and had a great time.
Quick, easy hike with nice views. Plenty of people, so not exactly a solitary expedition.
(hiked twice since, always a good time with good people)
Nice 4 mile round trip. Great day for it. Sunny, clear view all around. On the way home, it began hailing. Timing is everything.
This trail is good for a short trip, an hour and a half will do at a moderate pace.
Great workout close to the city.
Started to do Cutler, then the weather held up long enough to do Muscoco first, then Cutler on the way down.
Nice after work hike. Almost missed the highpoint with all the trees and bumps on the near level summit area.
Had to move quick to beat out storm, but still a nice mountain.
Very icy near the bottom but pretty stable the rest of the way to the top. Really lovely places to sit on the summit also. :)
Trip number 2 up Muscoco. The views from the summit are incredible. Went with yourhorsedoctor and her parents.
Took my parents for their first "adventure" - now they are hooked!
Nice solitude away from Cutler.
Took a friend up Muscoco, 5th time up there and always a fun little hike. Explored the airy south summit overlooking 7 Falls.
Weather is making the high country a trial. Decided to run a local peak with Cimarron for a quick morning outing.
Climbed up from Mt.Cutler trailhead, it was super windy on top so I didn't linger for very long time
Nice alternative to Cutler.
Did the twofer with a couple of friends that hadn't been up either Cutler or Muscoco.
Just knocked it out. Some great areas of scramble with a little exposure. Not too bad...
