Mushrooms,Bolete

These large mushrooms were found in the forest here and there for miles. 8/13/07. I have help identifying these monsters as Bolete! My wife and I found these same critters on the Lake Ann trail at Rainy Pass, North Cascade Highway. People were gathering them to eat! Hope they know what they are doing.
