Musk thistle
Musk thistle
The Musk thistle (Carduus nutans) is not native to the Americas, and classified as an invasive weed in much of North America. It's always a shame to see these exotics in a national park. This one was located along the Roaring River above Alluvial Fan in Rocky Mountain NP. August 2009.
