Re: Love This Shot!!!

I am sure your son can feel blessed with a father like you and the adventures you have blessed him with. It is those moments that you can watch him take over a lead and struggle through a 5.10 and make it over the hard move with a grin of acheivment on you both .You know then your worth as a dad to him is truly something of meaning in his life.Keep on rockin and I will keep on icing. Re: A very

It certainly is I can only think how you feel when skiing down those backcountry slopes and gullies watching you daughter cutting turns with you must bring about such good feelings may they continue for a long long time may you do them with your grand childern. I will try and get ahold of your daughter for ice climbing next week end. In the mean time heel toe with a grin. If you look more into my pictures you will find one of my daughter and I climbing Devils Tower together on a ledge with a happy grin on our face See ya Jerry

How precious!

Thank you for contributing to the 'Mountains of Smiles!' When I look at this picture, a tear comes to my eye ... which is good, because we need more water in the desert!

Re: How precious!

Thank you so much for your comment. Be it the desert , the mountains , ocean coast any place that mother natures beauty abounds is a good place to share with your children. I just got back from a Canada ice climbing trip with my 28 year old son and the happiness that trip brought him and I will last a life time. I wish you many like that also

Re: My daughter and me....

Those are heart felt moments with my kids. I have shared very many times like that with all my children over the years. It is so nice to see them go on and to be climbers, hikers .skiers, and take off on their own enjoying adventures in the outdoors. I am glad you enjoy it. Thank you

This has to be...

...one of the best pictures on SummitPost. I voted on this one a long time ago, but I was looking at it again tonight and thinking what a wonderful picture it is, and thus this comment was born.
