Thos hexes are the first generation made by Chouinard Equipment that eventually became Black Diamond. I am ancient my friend.

It has a wooden handle and a burly head. But, stupid me, for reasons I cannot remember, I cut off its strap.

Great CollectionMarc - That's an impressive set of iron, almost better than a trip to Neptune's Mountaineering in Boulder, Colorado - that place is half climbing store, half climbing museum.
