My survey tape collection from Frog Mountain

My survey tape collection from Frog Mountain. All of this was removed from the west ridge of Frog Mountain in the final one-third mile to the summit (4600' and up). In my 25 years of climbing mountains, I've never seen anything like it. I don't consider myself a treehugger or an environmentalist, but this continuous line of fluorescence was insulting to my eyesight and my intelligence. My opinion is that if you can not navigate along the crest of a well-defined ridgeline without bright pink ribbons every 20', you probably don't belong in the mountains. I'm not trying to be self-righteous about this - I've tied up more than my share of tape over the years - just use a little common sense about where and when you use it. I'm fairly certain that this was not done by any SPer's, but on the off-chance that this was you, please stop. Well, enough of this rant - I'm stepping down from the soapbox now.
