Have to say, Saturday sounds like it was a lot more enjoyable than Sunday. =) Natasha
You're a beast, Brian. Next time maybe we'll stick with the same route together. - Cory
You guys definitely picked the correct route that day. Hope to climb again with you soon.
Hey Brian, good times in the snow eh? Great read! BTW: ...Revelations 5.9 on the Testament Wall. (Now, the first bolt is about 20 feet up so I placed a stopper midway... Now I remember which route that is - and also remember placing an Alien or something before the first clip :) Nice lead!
Thanks. I had TR'ed that route before but forgot about the high bolt. The 10a next to it is fun too.
Great TR Brian. That Wy'East is a fun route.
I think Wy'East would have been cake compared to the mess the Steel Cliffs were. Maybe I'll get back there sometime and finish the Wy'East to the summit, would like to see that final gully.
Good work Brian, from Smith straight to a hard route on Hood! How could you leave the sunny rock and go into the ice cold though?
Ha, it was not so sunny at Smith that day. The sun ended about 11 am and it was parka time while belaying.
