I climbed Apikuni by way of Natahki Lake on July 12, 2013. The second break described on this route up to Natahki Lake was still too snow covered for me to feel comfortable climbing up it without anything to self-arrest with. My friend and I climbed the break at the very end of the valley, closest to Apikuni Mountain. It was a tiresome walk up the scree to the bottom of that break, but the climb up from there was enjoyable and pretty easy. The only problem was that at the top of that break you have to bushwhack through semi-dense forest for what felt like a half hour in order to reach the lake. From there, it was simple route finding and scrambling with a bit of climbing. It was a long day, but what a trip!

Route or Trip?Is this really a route to a summit or a trip report?
Seems to me that it is the latter.
