On patrol with a backcountry ranger friend. A seasoned trail crew member was repeated charged by a bear back here and unloaded two cans of bear spray on it. We looked for any sign of the bear but just ran into a very well behaved griz!
Can't believe I took so long to go there, living so close. An easy half day from a trail behind Appikuni Falls, but of course we made it more difficult and found a class 3 route up some cliffs. With Nate, Chris, Adrienne, and Lia. At the lake, Boys played bocci and ladies sunbathed. Beautiful scenario!

solo fun
drove 19 hours from Minneapolis to Many Glacier, made my way to Altyn via Natahki, broke my camera on the way down... an interesting two days!
