Re: Beautiful

Thanks :)

This is an older photo, and although I have newer ones I keep this one because now the Spruce are dying or dead on Cedar Mountain and it makes me sad to look now. The forest there is being taken over by aspen and that will look pretty, but in the meantime it's so sad with all the dead Spruce Trees.

Too bad

about the Spruce trees. My parents have a
very huge blue Spruce growing in their yard
in northern Utah. This is the first photo I
have seen of Navajo Lake on Summitpost. It is a very beautiful lake, and I have been fishing and camping there many times. I didn't notice the Spruce trees on Cedar Mountain, because I was too busy fishing and looking for frogs and such.

50 years later..

I created an account just to post this. While editing in old family photos that I had scanned in, I came across one labeled "Navajo Lake". I went to google and couldn't believe that one of the first images I see it taken in nearly the exact same spot 50 years later. I would provide a link to the photo, but I'm sure that wouldn't be allowed, and I don't know how to upload photos here, otherwise I would share it. It's crazy how the dead tree there hasn't changed in 50 years!

figured it out
