Negociating "The Step" and...

Negociating "The Step" and grabbing a faint trail which led to the summit ridge. Once on the summit ridge the rest was easy. There is a well-used summit ridge that goes right to the summit hut.

I love this one

This is a great shot of a trail most of us have only read about in Kelsey's book. Thanks for the whole series of pics and the route. I couldn't write it up since I had never been up it but this makes me want to check it out.

Informative photos

These photos really give me a good sense of what the Big Baldy Ridge looks like. I couldn't gather much feeling about it from Kelsey's Guide, but after looking at photos in some backcountry skiing books, it has made my tick list for winter-spring snow climbs. These photos are wetting my appetite!
