Trail formally closed!
The trail from Kriški podi (plateau) directly on Pihavec has been closed for a few years. Also for this summer there are no plans to repair it. The reason of closure are damaged security devices in the chimney just below the summit. Rock falls and dangerous debris are still there. But despite the formal closure the route can be done - with additional care.

Trail branching
On the trail Pogačnikov dom (hut), 2050 m, - Dovška vrata (saddle), 2186 m, the key branching on the Pihavec normal route is on the altitude of 2144 m. There you branch off towards the south.
