finished off last year's project on the lead of this steep beauty. crux below the tree remains a daunting task and pulling through that section was a great feeling! double rope rappel from the summit(rivals seal rock and maiden for flatiron's best, sweet!) to avoid any of the previous problems.

Great day out on the Matron with my wife and good friend Shaun. Steep for 5.5. Glad the closure was lifted early this year. FUN!
