North Portion of the Route
Three Prong Mountain is the highest point in the distance. The spotty trail vanishes for good on the ridge to the left. The best way to continue is to contour across the bald point at the left center to the saddle, then continue across the forested slope to the broad hump that is in front and to the right of Three Prong. From there its an easy ridge hike to the summit of Three Prong. July 2009
