North ridge route from summit

Looking down on the north ridge from the summit of Comanche Peak. The trail is visible on the saddle below. The west (left) trail heads down to the North Crestone trailhead; the east (right) trail to Comanche Lake, and the northward-curving trail contours over to Phantom Ridge and Venable Pass (July 2008).
