Summit block is pretty scary with that ancient wire attached to god-knows-what.

Interesting finish
The summit boulder certainly presents an interesting finish to an otherwise mellow little South Platte peak! We got "wing waves" from a couple of C-130s cruising *below* us. The final summit climb is stiff - I couldn't have done it without aid - but it was fun! Cold as heck on top, though.

North Face
Aid climbed this short & very stiff face with Sarah Simon, Jess Meris and Mike Coon.
Pleasant day down below but super cold and windy up top.
Jess placed no pro climbing up.
Beer & burgers afterwards at Bucksnort!

wasteland can be impressive in its one way - was not corageous enough today to try the wire slings to get up on the summit rock
