About a mile up the Mill B North Fork Trail, this scene opens up after spending much of the time in thick trees. The middle of the picture is Big Cottonwood Canyon with Storm Mountain rising on the left (south) of the canyon. The Oquirrh Mountains can be seen in the distance across the Salt Lake Valley. Feb 2007. Fuji Velvia 100 (b&w'd).

Thanks Josh. Actually, it did not storm, it just spit flakes every now and then - cold and wet enough to be a little uncomfortable but it was worth it for the views and solitude. Brad.
