Northwest Face

Northwest Face of Half Dome, from Mirror Lake. December 25, 2000. It was a drought year, hence little snow. This was about a 22 inch lens. Orange filter, with an 8x10 camera. It's the left half of the frame. From here, as they say, you get a terrifying view of the all-too obvious route.
