How would this route be in the winter? Was it very steep?

My GUESS is that the lower and mid part of the ridge would be fairly safe and the summit block is probably too steep to have much avalanche danger - BUT any approach that I can think of would have significant of avalanche danger - especially the approach from Windy Saddle via Sheep Lake.
