I wonder......what is the windshield casualty rate down there? Any little pebble dislodged could be a real nuisance.

Re: I wonder...Photo is cheating a little bit. The cars are a little bit further than the rock. I've been going to this place for ages but I've never heard about any accidents caused by your mentioned rock-falls and you cannot see fallen rocks, pebbles around the parking cars too. So it's a safe place. :-)

This picture was taken from the foot of the upper rock. The parking place is further with some meters from this place.
I think you can see there is enough distance between the route and the parking place and it is not dangerous.
