Wind Madness
4 summits in 4 straight days. Ian (St. George Ian) and I warmed up on Waterfall Dome and then summited Cochise Dome (Triple Direct and You Bet Your Life), End Pinnacle (Welcome to the Machine), Chay Desa Tsay (Wind Madness) and Rockfellow (Labyrinth), encapsulating one of my finer trips in the Stronghold at 58 yrs of age. Wind Madness offers up two outstanding pitches, #3 and #4 which are both mostly bolted except for one #4 cam needed on pitch 4. The crux is the pumpy start to pitch 1. Great position, from the alcove you start in to the cool summit far above End Pinnacle's.
