The current driving directions were not entirely clear to me, as FS-33 is not referenced anywhere on Tonasket-Havillah Road. The upper Mount Bonaparte Trailhead (#306) can be reached using the following driving directions from Havillah:
-> Turn east onto W. Lost Lake Road.
-> Follow W. Lost Lake Road for 0.8 miles, until arriving at a "T" road intersection.
-> At the "T" road intersection, turn right. This is the official start of FS-33.
-> Follow FS-33 for 3.3 miles.
-> Turn right onto Road 300.
NOTE: There might be a sign at the road intersection that references the Mount Bonaparte Trail.
-> Follow Road 300 for 2.5 miles until the sharp left bend in the road where the upper trailhead is located.
NOTE: The upper trailhead only has enough room to park two vehicles. If those parking spots are filled, turn the vehicle around and find another place to park alongside Road 300.
