Route Comment

There are some pretty important discrepencies in your route info.

-Camping is not allowed within 100 feet of water or trail, not 300 feet from the lake.

-There is a climbers path that goes up from Divide Lake just to the right of the obvious rock field below the South Gully on Yoran.

-Once up at the base of the rock, scramble/hike around left of a rock ridge into the South Gully.

-Ascend the gully on the right side.

-Once at the top of the gully, you can not simply "scramble up and over to the summit". There is a vertical headwall that would be a technical climb. At this point, look right and scramble up to a notch in the ridge/wall on the right. Go up and over it to easier third class rock above a steep section that is not accessible from below on the back side (east side).

-You will pop over the ridge just below two mountain hemlock trees. Scramble up to the top and then to the right to the true summit. Remember this point for your descent as you do not want to pop back over the ridge too high and "tree" yourself.

-Descend the same way

Elevation gain is about 1800 feet and round trip is just over 8 miles.

Re: Fix this

Unfortunately, I don't think the submitter has been on SP for a while. Glad the info was of help to you. BTW, nice profile pic. Is that on Bailey?
