I've heard this name used for the unnamed peak along the ridge between Red Mountain and Table Mountain, but where did the name come from? I don't live in Butte and I have not seen it on any maps.
Good question. I only knew it as Peak 10136' until I saw the reference in the Table Mtn summit register. After a little web searching I did find some people also call it "Highland Mountain". I didn't physically find anything on the summit, so it's a mystery. Maybe someone else can chime in.
